Preferred Auto & Fleet Started in 1998, New owners Malcolm & Stephanie Heathcote took over December 2014. Even though they’ve always had a passion for automotive repair and fun vehicle projects to be able to participate in Ice Racing, Mud Racing, Off-roading with their Jeep, Drag Racing, Auto Slalom racing among other motor sports the Heathcote's don't have the typical background of a shop owner. Even though Malcolm and Steph met in shop class in high school (2005) Malcolm was a machinist for 10 years before he came to the conclusion that he didn’t love what he was doing and Stephanie being employed in various clerical/admin jobs knew she wanted something more. So they decided that they would pursue their love of vehicles and open an automotive repair shop. The two finally stumbled on a shop owner that was looking to sell and here we are today!
